Central Coast: 2005 (so far) vs. 2004

I haven't hunted the Central Coast since The Rain. What difference has it made in # of animals, feed (yeah, lots of green grass....), size of animals, etc?

I know around my buddies place above Salinas, there's so much water and grass everywhere that it's really spread them out.

And yes, lots of young green grass. The pig I popped had guts full of it.

The hogs at FHL we saw a few weeks back were munching out in the open grass with the oaks as cover nearby.

Bout 6 pm we found them on a sunny day.
