Here is the link to the pictures taken from the hunt last weekend. We scored two pigs on a private ranch. Saw a few dozen pigs and good crop of piglets. We hunted 3 days. Didn't see anything on Friday evening. The next moring by dad missed a big boar out of 3 he saw it was about 215lbs+, he was shooting through some bruch and the bullet deflected of a branch and hit about 2 inches over the Boars back. He was discusted becasue my brother gave him a bunch of sh@%. Later that evening we ran into 8 hogs and 13 piglets. We took two of the pigs one the back and brown boar a little small but had a good looking coat. The other was the white sow. We hesitated taking here but all of the piglets were of these two massive sow probobly 200lbs. Both the pigs weighed in about 135 field dressed. We had a great time and loved the country. In and around California Valley west of the I-5. Here is the link to the Pics.

Here's one pic of Chapdog's pop, skinning one of their hogs.

Nice hogs, by the way.

Thanks Speck, The picture that you see are in and around the California Valley area. We hunted on the Twisselman Ranch. There are several Twisselman's in the valley. Anyway the first pic like stated is my dad skinning the black and brown boar. He was young but still not bad in size for only haveing 1/2 tusks. Weighed about 135 on the scale field dressed. The other white pig is my brothers. His was a sow and wieghed about 120. The pictures are of the area we hunted in. Saw 20+ deer on the ranch. 100+ Tule elk about 50 of them werwe at the botoom of the canyon in the picture. My dad even killed a coyote. Actully we were on a ridge and we had seen a coyote on the next ridge over and the owners said kill all the coyotes we could. So my brother got set up to kill that coyote but he just kept running so my bro popped off a shot at about 400yds, Missed. So we got up and began to move over to the other side of the ridge and we had pigs running everywhere. We figured that the shot he took at the coyote got all the pigs up and running. Great way to get things moving during a hunt. The Black and Brown one was shot at about 150 yards with a shot from above through the center of the shoulder blades throught the heart. Weird shot. The white one was killed with a 250 yard shot across the canyon through the heart. Great shooting on their part. Hope you enjoyed the pics. Chap
