Central Valley Duck Hunters

How many of you guys hunt the central valley (Grasslands area) during duck season??

I hunt Kern every week

I also hit Kern every chance I get, makes for a long day coming up from so cal.

Where in kern do you hunt duck at?? I work in kern county a few days a week

I want to start hitting Kern and Los Banos this year. Wister is good but it's a long drive (about 5 hours each way for me). I put in for the whole season at Kern last tyear and never got a spot, but this year I may just go sweat-line it.

Kern Wildlife Refuge. See hunting regulations, waterfowl hunt applications to apply or as K_Rad said you can go and wait in the sweat line (Sat and Wed. draw.) and hope you get in. I got in all three times that I went last year. Limited twice and all three hunts were great!
