So since Tejon canceled my hunt for Feb 3-5 I scrambled and put a hunt together with Deedy from Bryson Hesperia. Sounds like it will be a fun time and that they have some hogs. Anyone hunted up there that can give me any insight to the hunting areas? Does anyone know the lay of the land, is it hills, canyons or fields, what do you think will be the best plan?

As soon as I get back I will throw some pics and the story up here.

Thanks

Yes.

You will be happy. She's got some good country with a mix of ag and bedding cover. Probably the best deal out there. She even has a reefer.

Our age is showing Myfiriendis410. Best to say she has a "fridge" rather than reefer... - I hope she isn't growing/selling weed...

Did she happen to mention how busy they were?

I'm considering going down there.

Well, the hunt was a little disappointing, we were shown a main field that we could go in for pigs, and was told it was 1200 acres, of which 900 of the acres are flat open land that does not have any trees on it. The remaining balance of the land looked like great pig country, but our problem was that in the middle of the good hunting area the land owner was building a pad for a home and had two dozer/graders operating with workers dropping pipe. Everyone was talking really loud over the generators, grading motors and guys driving in and out of the property. I had called to complain about our situation to Deedee and was told, "Oh, I never know what the land owner is gonna do on that property" So in my opinion, I would not recommend the location or go back. The other areas that we were shown and told they hold pigs had no sign, no rooting or tracks. Might be a good area when the barley gets growing, but our hunt was not good since the only decent area with pig sign had guys working during the best hunting hours. Even when we went to the Bee Rock store for a beer after hunting the owner of the store, said "were you the guys hunting out in the field? I drove in to deliver some pizza's to the guys working, kinda felt bad driving into your hunting area" I said thanks, but still was a waste of money.
