chased a few piggies yesterday.

went to check out some new property i gained access to in san benito county. while driving up, saw these 4 small pigs in field just off the road. didnt have permission to hunt, but knew the owners, so figured i could go get some footage. actually ran after them since they didnt seem to care (or know) that i was there. now that i think about it, i should have crawled through the tall grass instead. but oh well. just seeing how close i could get for some footage. ended up just running after em for a little bit, get my heart going in the morning. haha

pretty good day though. ended up smackin a coyote with the 270 (more details in predator forum)

and finding some elk antlers.

nice day to spend a sunday!

im sure i'll be back to look for some more pigs in a month or two.

not sure if it was a lion. i guess they could be around there, but i wouldnt know how to tell.
the antlers were in a real steep canyon. about half covered with dirt. but found no other remains.

nicly done on the coyote. i messed up this last saturday and went quail hunting with out my rifle becaus ei saw 5 coyotes that could have easly died.
