hubba,

before we go any farther, let's end the charade. You claim to have been at the window when I was talking to Cindy. There were 4 of us present, one was my buddy and the other two were Cindy and John the window workers. So, which is it? Enough of your deception. Your attempt now to appear as just a concerned hunter who visits FHL is BS.

As far as the other ramblings you posted about the content here and the gloom and doom, I'll let all the members here do my talkingabout how they feel about this website and forum.

Hey John, I haven't been to FHL in about 20 years because it is just far enough from Fresno that I no longer have the time to travel there when I can get to the Sierra National Forest in 45 minutes. But guess what dude?; you lose! You are so dam obvious, it doesn't even take a mental health professional like myself to see it. Also, I represent civilian state civil service workers in my present job; if you and Cindy are federal civilian workers, I would advise you both to try to please your clientele; because if the program you work for is discontinued, look for another job! I'm not even involved in the FHL situation, but I've been at this website since us CA folks were at Hoss' old site linked to the CA DFG page. I enjoy browsing around this site. I'm glad Jesse found you out and exposed you as a muddy mole. Give it up dude, do your job properly -- or I just might be willing to join the rest of the folks on this board and paint up some protest signs with your name on them and picket your place of employment! Peace brother!

Hubba must be reading a different forum because I don't see the doom and gloom and negative posts about other hunters that he's refering too. Nice try.

Wow you go away for a few days for a little hunt trip and the sh_t hits the fan!

Got back from my FHL trip two days before Thanksgiving and find out from work we are on 4 day work week ( in other words 20% cut in pay) with 60 day recovery plan to keep office doors open. And then I see this --- Sure makes life interesting.

Anyhow Jesse my trip was okay. Not successful but still a good time. Lucked out at the window --- Cindy and her counter part John were accomodating ( from what I have experienced and heard from my other friends who hunt there it's a crap shoot), but there was only a few guys in line when I was there. Anyway you are right they should be more professional and treat their hunting guests the way they themselves would liked to be treated. But again that must just be too simple.

I see your point and would be interested in the response from a written or e-mail complaint to the Commander's office. I'm not sure who's responding here on the forum, but looks like you got it pegged (to qoute another), especially with that mind set and tone.

Moving right along --- Checked into TA29 first and entered at the second gate with my partner. I had briefed him the nite before and told him I wanted to split-up and so we could cover two different sections at the same time. Seemed easy enough, we would separate by about 100 yds and hump the hills and meet at the dirt road in the middle. We had radios so we could check on each other if need be. My friend looks to be in better shape than I so I figured he would be there ahead of me. Plus I was hunting hard and looking for sign and tracks. Anyway the "Pigstalker" a name he has given hemself, got turned around and ended up hunt'n for roadkill on the blacktop on Interlake Rd. This I figured out when finally made radio contact with him and asked if he was on the road ( the dirt road we had agreed upon to meet) and he indicated he was there. After marching up and down that darn thing couple of times and making radio contact again find out he is on the blacktop. So I ask if he is on road in front of my truck or in back of my truck so I could spot him with by binos and decide whether or not to hump back to the truck and go pick him up and keep him on a short string. To make a long story short figured it out and picked him up. Saw deer, quail, ( didn't bag any --- they were just to darn fast) saw some textbook pig tracks. But did'nt see or hear any turkeys.

Checked out areas 25 and 15. Got a good lay of the land saw all kinds of deer tracks and some more good pig tracks but only found tracks. Jumped coveys here and there, but had either the wrong weapon or just to fast. Got to see a bugling Elk bull keeping his herd of 37 cows in line over in the cantonment area. Just another day in paradise.

By the way went up to Hemet check out Rouse ridge did some more quail missing there too. Man do I have to go bust some clay birds or what!!

Well hope to meet up with you guys sometime!! Type at you later

There are at least 3600 of us that like the way this forum is and the job that Jesse is doing here.
Talk about negative posts, you've only got 4, and they're all negative. You seem to have very specific ideas on how the perfect hunting forum should be run.
So, there's only one thing that we can suggest you do. START YOUR OWN, BECAUSE WE LIKE JESSE'S JUST FINE THE WAY IT IS.[/b]

DITTO, Jesse's doing a great job.
