LD - I'll definitely bring it. See if I can stick a ground squirrel with it. Below is a link to a pic of it. In this pic it is drawn to about 26in.

Elkburgers sound good to me. I can bring fixins and a desert or ???

Looking forward to seeing everyone again. I'm already getting bummed that after this hunt we may not all hook-up for a few months.

Hey guys, my wife has this recipe for Turkey Burgers made with sauted mushrooms, onions, and goat cheese mixed in. It sounds a little foo foo, but they're actually really good. I can bring turkey burger patties and hamburger buns for one of the dinners if we want. Just let me know.

I can also bring one of those large family frozen lasagna's if Chopper has an oven at the place.

Here's what I'll bring:

- 2 Dozen Eggs (for whatever you want to use them for)
- 2 Dozen Hamburger Buns
- 12 Turkey Burger Patties (if anyone is interested)
- 1 Large Frozen Lasagna
- Homemade cookies
- 1 case - Coca Cola cans
- 1 case - Diet Coke cans
- Beer

Thoughts?

Oven works. I can use your eggs for Sunday morning. I'll bring another dozen.

Chopper, I'll drop a check in the mail today...

I'm having a hard time finding 150 grain judos. I've got the longbow set up for 150 grain broadheads on a Easton 2018 legacy shaft, and I've been using 145 grain field points plus a 5 grain washer to practice at the field course. I've got plenty of 2016's that would work with a 125 Judo, but I don't want to switch back and forth in the middle of a hunt, cause I shoot instinctively and the arrow weight change gives a different trajectory. I usually set my practice arrows up to practice for whatever the next hunt is. I'll go back to the lighter arrow for the whitetails this fall, but I've been practicing with heavier arrows for the pig hunt. Since my traditional gear dosen't have the blistering speeds of compounds I wanted a heavy arrow for penetration on pigs. I'll look for something I can rig up. Cabelas might have a 145 grain small game blunt....

Buckeye,

Those field tips w/ washers ought to work as good as anything. I've got some 140gr Judos that shoot almost as good as my 140 gr broadheads. I always forget them when I'm hunting, though, so I end up just losing arrows.

i'm going to have to pass on the dinner since this hunt will have my budget down to very little.

I am willing to bring lunch type goodies. What does everyone like for lunches? i'm thinking the usual lunch meats, fixin's, chips and so forth. Plus I will bring Pepsi, Mt. Dew and Gatorades.

Hey guys, I finally found a place near San Jose that was not sold out of Pig Tags! Woo Hooo! I'm all set. Just got a new set of Shkote broadheads too, so looks like I'm set. Found 145grain "Bludgeons" at Cabelas, so they should work with a 5 grain washer and have a pretty good set up for the mid day activities.

Alright...with this hunt being only a week or so away, we need to plan on where/when to meet. Chopper was kind enough to invite all of us down on Thursday night & hunt till noon on Sunday (as a reminder, his hunts last Friday at noon till noon Sunday), so you'll be able to get in an additional mornin' hunt.
<

Would you be able to meet Thursday afternoon (after 7) at the gate, if so, what time? If Friday works best for you, we can arrange someone to meet you at the gate. Please post up w/ your ETA.

<

Almost forgot, i've got dibs on the large boar in the above photo.
