Choppers March 2-4

Eric looking forward to having ya there.Have you ever hunted choppers before?

HI Cal Hunter (Eric): This will be my first time at Chopper's and also my first attempt at hogs in CA, so I should learn a lot from all of you. Seems to me, from all that I have read and found on the internet that Chopper's is the best hog hunt in the state, and it's only for bow hunters. I'm very stoked to beable to hunt there and with JHO'ers. Last year I wanted to go but could not get on a hunt. If you have the location of the ranch let me know, as I would like to look over some topo maps of the area to familarize myself with it.

Eric, Welcome aboard. I see your from Jackson WY, I go there every year when I am elk hunting. I have a house in Soda Springs Idaho and stay their for a month to hunt. I take a weekend and go to jackson. You have some nice country up there. We will have a good time at Choppers. It will be my first time hunting there also, So I will need to learn allot about the land to. I am thinking of making my famous elk spaghetti for a dinner. It goes good with beer and Oneshot likes beer, So if we get enough beer in him he might slip up and tell us his honey hole lol

. There is a good book on hunting hog by Bob Robb called hunting Wild Boar in Ca. You can learn allot from that book it might give ya a lil heads up. buck
