The turkey sounds good, can't wait. Everything sounds good. I'll bring the elk burgers, buns, condiments, potato salad, chips, and dessert.
Everyone keep up the practice. We are having a 3-D shoot on Jan 27th up at Stevens Creek Canyon range, if anyone is interested.

Is it presumptuous to say we might have fresh pork one night?[/b]

No, but it might be to assume you can plug in anything ELECTRIC at the cabin.

There is a new electric generator at the cabin, however I would not plan on having electricity for anything. I cannot guarantee electric power will be available.

As they say, $hit happens.

I'll say it again for those of you that didn't understand it. There is no electricity at the cabin. The only electricity available is from a gasoline powered generator and I would not count on it being available. It might work but I cannot guarantee it. Kapeesh??

Hey guys Chop is right we better not plan on any meals that will need eletric for cooking cause if for some reason the generator isnt working Its not like we can run out and get some fast food. For those of you that have never been there dont worry the cabin dosent only run on the generator the lights run on propane so dont think were gonna be sitting in the dark LOL!

Been a little busy repairing frozen pipes. Hopefully we will get it all done so there might be water at the cabin.

If you feel it is necessary to bring a generator and an electric cooker, then bring it. But remember this is a hunting trip, not a cooking trip. Just imagine all the possible situations that could occur. One for sure that will happen and I can almost guarantee it is somebody will cripple a hog right before dark on the turkey fry night and many hours will be spent tracking and blood trailing. Also sunset on that weekend is around 5:30 so plan on most guys getting back to the cabin around 6 p.m. or later if a hog is crippled. Then it will take 1 3/4 hours to cook the bird. How long will it take to prep and heat the oil? Does oneshothunter want to cut his evening hunt short in order to get back to the cabin and start dinner so everyone can eat at a decent hour?

These are just a few of the things you guys need to think about. Trust me, I've been doing this for a long time now.
