CHOPPER'S WILD HOG ADVENTURE>Bowhunting Only Group Hunt>03/12 to 03/14 2010

i am very excited to be the first one to post up a jho group hunt or also non memebers (friends and relitives) at Chopper's place>(wild hog:hog chewing::archer green: adventures) after he shut down operations 2 years ago. i know this is early but anyone who has planned or done group hunts before knows how fast time flys and before you know it, its time for the hunt and sometimes people still dont have together when giving plenty of time, so i want to get this posted and started now.

so i booked the weekend of March 12 th.-14 th. 2010 at Choppers place in the hollister/gilroy region of Ca. for a bowhunting only group hunt of at least 6 hunter's at the price of $400.00 ea.>$200.00 deposit in advance before the hunt from noon friday till noon sunday for that weekend hunt.
its over 4000 lush acers of rolling hills of prime pig habitat with some awesome trials and old loging roads which are great for walking or staking for any bowhunter with out so much wear an tear on the body ( unless a pig drops in a canyon).
also included is a very nice lodge with rooms, fireplace, kitchen and warm showers with an awesome view and there is a walk in cooler to store your kill's for the weekend, you have to provide your own food and coolers and ice & drinks.
this will be like my 5 or 6 th. group hunt there and i have always had a satisfying great time sharing the passion for bowhunting wild pig's with other hunters with great story's and great food and :toast-yellow:, successfull or not.

p.s. the only thing i am not clear on yet (forgot to ask Chopper) is if the price of the weekend hunt is for 1 or 2 pigs, it use to be 2 but that might have changed, i am sure he will clarify that for us...........tra

Put me on the maybe list at this point, I will know more shortly. Definitely want to attend, but had a friend from out of state want to do a rifle hog hunt during the week before so don't want to be away 2 weekends in a row. Will let you know.

It's a little far on my horizon to commit 100%, but I sure am interested. I'd be interested in the "add-a-turkey" plan too if that does indeed become an option.

sorry guys if i don't respond right away i am always in and out on the weekends with work. we have done some turkey and pig combo's before, but thats all up to Chopper on that decision, so we can talk about that more later.
i can keep a list of the people in order who respond with intrest or maybes, but the hunters with a definite yes and commitment for the weekend hunt now will have a spot on the list, there's only 5 or 6 spots to fill and thats it.

Turkey will not be open until March 27th.

The hunt is for 1 pig not 2.

As far as deposits go, you have 30 days from the time you commit to the hunt to send in your deposit. If you commit and I dont receive your deposit in 30 days, you will lose your spot. I have to do it this way because I am only allowing 1 hunt per month and there is a lot of interest.
