Bob Corbett, patriarch of the Corbett Family in Cibola, Ariz., and founder of the Cibola Sportsman's Club, is still trying to sell the club, cabins, office and home on the north side of Cibola. The Sportsman's Club has gone private there and won't have any public hunts this fall and winter. But Corbett said so many of his regular goose hunting clients have been calling that he's going to offer large and small public group hunts for geese and ducks at his South Ranch, adjacent to the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge. Corbett has planted the fields on the South Ranch and will plant and fill the ponds this week to get ready for the upcoming waterfowl season. In addition to goose hunts in the winter, Corbett also is offering planted pheasant and chukar hunts. For information on the hunts and accommodations at the South Ranch, call Corbett at (928) 857-3531 or (928) 857-3144.
