Whats your opinion on the best way to safely clean a pair of binoculars? I recently purchased some Leupold Pinnacles and I want to know the safest way to clean them without doing any damage to the lenses. I was considering the Leupold Lens Pen but wanted to ask opinions first before I use such a product.

I use the lens pen on my swarovskis'.
I basically blow air to remove the loose dust off, then use the brush on the end of the pen to further remove particles. The I ususall y steam them up on purpose and the use the wiper foot on the other end of the pen.
Might be a better way, but its seems to work pretty good.

I like the lens pen as well. Same procedure Brian uses. Best protection i found though is to always be sure to reattach your lens caps after every use. Don't let them bounce around on the seat of your truck while you scout from place to place without caps in place. Cover them boys up before you set them down.
