Ok, so I just got and started playing around with OnX Maps app. There's a long sliver of land in the middle of CNF running north-south above Ramona almost up to the 76 that it says is owned by the City of San Diego. I'm assuming you can't hunt it, but can you drive and/or hike through it? And what the hell is it, a park or something? I've only really hunted Camp Pendleton and a little of Palomar mountain so far because I'm paranoid as crap about all the crazy laws around here. I didn't even know there were shooting restrictions for parts of SD county until I saw a map layer showing it in this app. Any other craziness I need to know?

Boden Canyon is the 2 blue areas to the left. Is this huge area in the middle part of that? Its not mentioned on the DFW site.

I don't know. Under the DFW land viewer that parcel in Pamo Valley comes up under "California Protected Area Database - City Holdings" (CPAD).

That's a lot of work for a hiking trail in the forest.
