We are going to do a bachelor party at Morro Bay and would like to hunt for one day. Can anyone reccomend someone closer than Parkfield. The closer the drive from the Rock the better. Thanks

Templeton area and Atascadero area are all real close and there's got to be some guides around there.

I was hoping you would chime in Hatchet I've read alot of your posts . I have heard good stuff about Tom, do you guide commercially? If so could you handle 8 guys? How far is San Ardo from Morro?

i walked away from guiding hog hunters a few years back bro, strickly deer hunts now,but i will tell you one thing,
i cut my teeth with tom many, many, years ago, that man taught me damn near everything i know about hog hunting
{for what its worth}. he can definetly handle a party of 8 and then some, there are many "guides "out there, many
good outfits out of parkfield too, i believe RNJ is close by there.from what ive heard ,they are also top notch! but if your looking to hunt closer to the 101,
tom is definetly your man!!! p.m. me if you want some more details, and let us know how you do!!

san ardo is not very far if you cut across, neither is san miquel, tom runs hunts out of both those areas with HUGE RANCHES.
and many, many hogs... im guessin 45 minutes or so

Pancho Rico Creek Ranch in San Ardo. David Rossi is the ranch owner and guide. He and his family own a 5,000 acre cattle ranch a few miles east of San Ardo that is packed full of hogs. His hunts get filled up fast so you might want to book a little in advance. They have a web site if you want to check it out. http://panchoricocreekranch.com/index.htm

Yo rnj, you guys ever book anyone who mentioned reading an article in Bow and Arrow Hunting magazine? I wrote an article a few months back and mentioned you guys. Just curious if you got any calls.

Try Cross Country Outfitters, The Harden Brothers out of Paso Robles. They may be a little closer to where you are going to be.

Cross country outfitters are located east of San Miguel, about 30 minutes from Paso. August only guides Saturday evening through Monday morning. The rest of his week is spent at his gunshop, Shoot the Moon Outfitters.

Course give him a call, you might be able to work something out.

Them Cross Country fellers look like some good ole boys. Do they have a lot of property? Enough for 8 or so? The walk in cooler to hang is also very important.

I don't know how much land August uses. Usually he likes to guide one or two hunters at a time.

He gets 600/ hunter for a weekend.

Nobody ever mentiones Kyler Hamann, Boaring adventures. I was 1 for 1 with them years back. I know Boddington also hunted with him.

I'm kind of curious too why Boaring Adventures doesn't get mentioned.
