I have been contemplating going to FHL but I was checking yesterday and it looks like a lot is closed and I'm not even sure if it's open on the weekends.

My question. Is there anywhere closer to Los Angeles for a quick weekend trip that has some pigs? I'm new to pig hunting and have no real idea where to go other than FHL.

I have no problem doing some foot work.

Ideally hike in or camp.

Please PM If that's easier.

Thanks guys!

How's Riverside? I was googling around and some people are saying SD doesn't have much. But then again those can be locals trying to keep people away. It's though when it's not a close spot and you don't know anyone there.

I'm in SD and there ISN'T much down here.

According to the newest big game booklet, Kern County has the highest 3 year average pig take in the state.

San Diego county doesn't even make the list.

I have read that in the past. Sad part is most the land is private.
