Did you hit that bull all those times? Was is just dead standing on his feet?

Hell I was out of breath sitting here just thinking about 12000 feet.

All were killing shots. He just stood there. never took more than 4 steps. Never saw nothing like it. After the first shot i cow called several times.
not sure if he was confused or it just hurt to move. I think a little of both.
I never found any of the bullets, though i didnt look hard. they were all rib shots. There were no exit wounds. I was not impressed with the bullets i would have prefered they exited.

What caliber muzzloader? What grain lead? Where's the pictures!!!!

.50 cal.

348 grain

I decided to european mount it so i didnt keep the cape. ( that would have been half a load right there)

Our digital camera isnt working now but as soon as it is i will post the European mount that me and the ants/beatles are working on.

Almost pyroxide time.

Sdboyer it was unit 039. the public land is all pretty steep country and high altitude.

I finally got some pics to post of my bull. I am in the process of making a European mount that is why the skull is not completely bleached yet. Some boiling left to be done.

Work in progress.

I am still working on the euro mount. I think there is enuf meat left on there to make soup out of.
