I know its a week or two late but here is the story. I was suppose to have a meeting with the bosses from work in fresno. they called at the last minute and backed out on me as i was walking out the door. I thought what the heck i will go drive up to the ranch and see if their is any hog sign, then maybe go back this evening if i see any fresh sign. i grabbed the rifle and headed out. I got to the ranch and drove about a 1/2 mile in. I stopped at one of my favorite spots to glass a hay field. lone and behold their was a pig in the creek at the edge of the field. I slipped down the road a liitle ways stuck my head over the bank dang hes still their. So i settle the crosshairs and bang. He spins a 360 and drops. dont know the live weight but at the butchers he weighed 157 hanging. one tooth was decent a little over 2 inches the other was broke off. nice easy 15 yard drag to the road.[attachment=46554:b_day_hog.jpg]

Are you going to cut it up yourself or take it to the butcher? Either way, I think I see some good sauage in your future, enjoy!

Any info would be great.

That is a real nice belted hog

. I am still trying to get a hog on public out here in Coalinga. I saw a big white one during archery deer but it would have been imposible to get him out of the canyon he was in so I had to pass.
