I love this cold weather we are having. It makes great hunting weather, in more ways than are first apparent. What I mean is that body mass is directly related to the bodies ability to retain heat. So the larger the animal, the longer it can retain its own body heat, without having to refuel, so to speak. So the smaller the animal, pigs in this case, the more often they need to feed/refuel.
So when we consider our pig population, and the fact that the majority of the population consists of, well, not so large animals, the chance of finding feeding pigs during legal hunting hours is much higher than other weather windows.
So hey, get the hell out there and get after them.
