Colorado 211 11

Taking my 12 year old on his first out of state hunt. I have hunted Buford, Rifle, Rio Blanco, and Grand Junction before. I have not hunted or scouted 211 or 11 before. Any tips for a camp site or general direction is appreciated.

For Elk, I believe you can also hunt 12, 23 & 24. These are very crowded zones during the combo deer and elk seasons. If you're going during one of these combo seasons I recommend you pack light (no big trailers) and plan on driving the countless roads looking for a spot. We hunt deer/elk and are looking to get away from people. If you don't mind neighbors, there's plenty of places.

Just being in Colorado in the Fall is better than any day at work. Enjoy and good luck.
