Nice bull, congrats.
I don't have my regs handy but I think GMU 62 is an OTC unit for the 2nd and 3rd rifle seasons. Cow tags are not too hard to draw. A little research will tell you how many points are needed to draw for bulls. It's a tough unit to hunt. Very deep canyons and draws.
I have hunted it twice, once for bulls and once for cows. Saw a few cows the first year with no shot opportunities. Second year saw a bull crossing the road from 61 into 62 during a blizzard before shooting time. Saw two bulls later after the snow stopped but they were too far for my .35 Whelen. The rest of that trip was spent trying not to bump into other hunters.
Dave's guide had the right idea, catch them crossing to get away from the hunters.
GMU has a nice deer herd. Got a nice buck in '08, didn't get drawn this year.
