Where in CO Ed? Me and my crew (plus a couple of the SoCal CBH guys; e.g., Rocky, et al.), will be hunting near Gunnison the last week of the archery season... did you put in for a deer tag?

North Central near the Wyoming border. Still going to the same general area, just an OTC unit. I was planning on hunting deer at my buddy's spot, but he drew the elk tag. So, I just got off the phone with him and he told me to put some silicone on my blown gasket and RELAX!!!! My August hunt is up in the air. Oh well, I now have visions of a bear and blacktail wilderness hunt in Nor Cal? Maybe a utah deer hunt? Kaibab? Time for a beer!

I drew my 4th point and a Statewide cow elk muzzleloader tag. This year my goal is a nice buck AND my first cow elk.

I think I'll die before getting 10, 2, or 201 with only ten points now that they dropped nonresidents to 20%, so cashed in 9 of them in on a 66 muzz bull tag. I was hoping to have enough left to get a statewide muzz bull tag next year, but oh well. At least I am going elk hunting this year!
