Colorado Elk Hunt for sale

I have been planing this hunt for over a year. It was purchased through a Safari club fund raiser. It is a 7 day guided horse back hunt. 8 miles back in the hills in unit #77. Camp in tents, all food included. I hurt my back several weeks ago & after treatments & an MRI it is apparent I need surgery.

There was 4 of us going, my father, brother & a friend. I now cannot go. The hunt normally cost almost $4000.00. I paid $2800.00. They will leave southern cal on 10/20, hunt starts 10/22. Rvrking, let the outfitter know of your predicament.
I know guys that have postponed hunts uniil next season due to unforseen circumstances. Thats a killer price that your offering if I had an extra 3k I would take it. Sorry to hear of your injury.

Dang! If I wasn't already signed on to a hunt this year, I'd be all over this. Sounds like a great hunt... and I've been daydreaming about doing it on horseback!

Someone ought to jump all over this one.

This hunt is mocking me.

My parents are coming out to visit from Pennsylvania, a trip that has been planned for 3 months. Otherwise I would have looked into taking this trip. It's just not fair.

Well I went on this hunt anyway. My surgery is on Nov. 9th(in 2 days

). Out of 6 in our camp 3 scored! My dad got a 4x4, brother a 5x5! I could not hunt like I would have liked to,my mind was in it but my body was not even close. I do have the memories of being there with pops & bro!!

I will just go get them next year!!!
