Colorado Flatops

Does anyone know what the weather has been like (wet/dry) and what kinda of forcast there is for the next couple weeks?

Its been real dry on the Western slope. On the Eastern slope, we've been competing with Ireland.

I was told by a guy at work that the flat tops are a great place to hunt Elk. He goes out there alot and almost always fills his tag. Can you use quads in there, I just don't want to pack out an elk on my back. What type of bulls are you seeing in that area, not looking for a monster just a nice bull, it will be my first one.

Has it been cool enough to get them started. Last year we hunted second rifle season and I coulda just as well went to the Bahamas. Were going back to archery this year.
