Was it a bloody pass thru? Those pigs are really really tough. I can't wait to get up there again.

AS - Are they still searching for the hog with the pass thru shot?

Man, I hope they find'em. A hog down on the first morning makes for good spirits the rest of the weekend.

Father in law has a 20 acre turkey roost on wolf creek outside of Grass Valley.
Turkeys walk past the house every morning about 7:40am. a flock of about twenty toms waiting to get arrowed.
I'll be settin with my son and son-n law in a blind and were gonna get one shot each simultaneuosly or all at once whichever comes at the same time if you catch my meaning.

It's 1.....2..........3...and fire!
or it's 1.2......fire!
We'll have to hammer that one out on the three hour drive up! we'll look for someplace closer to hunt but this will do for opening day.

I'll be popping some pheasants tomorrow around Walnut Grove. Can't wait to get out there. Had an amazing opening day last year, hopefully it'll be the same tomorrow.

AS- Jason, me and another buddy of mine are heading to Elk Grove & Sac. to have drinks tonight and staying in EG. You around?
