couple of Fla. black powder hogs

had a quota hunt on a local Fla management area this past weekend. I killed a spike on thursday. Daughter went with me Friday and she wanted to hunt for hogs since the deer were not moving much. She killed a boar while we were slipping along a pond. Her boyfriend went with us on Saturday and he shot two pigs in the same area. Sunday morning the 3 of us slipped a different area. My daughter missed the first one we saw. After looking to make sure she had missed, I shot a big one and it dropped. While I was reloading it got up and ran into the sawgrass. It quit bleeding after 75 yards and the 3 of us spent the next three hours on our hands and knees looking for it. Finally gave up. On our way back to the truck we saw a big boar feeding towards us and her boyfriend shot it. I didn't get a picture of it, will have to get my daughter to send me one.

my daughter had a permit for the next weekend muzzle loader hunt and she got this one. Kind of glad she invited her boyfriend instead of me. He got to tote it out for her.
