This area was close to an area I have been in before. This was just a little farther around the mountain. We see deer in the area. Most of the time my sheds come from areas that I frequent before they actually drop.

No, I didn't carry the last one back. What started out as a quick walk turned into a long walk. I didn't take my pack or water

It just wasn't worth it due to the terrian and the distance from the truck. I know were its at and I will probaly be back in there to look for older sheds after the snow melts.

I hear you on a short walk turning into a hike and without drink.lol
If I find an old chewed skull I'll sometimes hang it in a tree for a later trip.The last couple I did like that were gone when I returned.
