Cow Elk Hunt Colorado

Looking for some suggestions. A few of my buddies are looking to do a cow elk hunt in Colorado Does any of you hunters have any suggestions on a good cow hunt. We are just looking to get some of that good tasting elk meat.

I have seen great success around meeker. If you have at least 3 in your team you should bring home meat. Not all take home elk but every year I saw teams taking home elk. Whether on the flat tops in the draws or down by the water everyone seems to have meat when they go home. A good team is the important part.

+1 on Meeker. I hunt there, and the last trip I saw 33 elk, only 4 of which were bulls.
