Not a great image, but it's my closest hawk in flight shot. I'm guessing it's a red-tail, but I'm not 100% sure.

There were two crows mobbing this hawk... I HATE crows (flying vermin)! We have thousands of them migrating back north through my area right now. I would love to see a hawk sink its talons into a crow

Nice shot regardless Paul. It's strange how these hawks put up with this, we all know wht would happen if the hawk were to get hold of one of these crows.

Thats a great pic Paul - it must have been hard getting both birds in the same frame, Whenever I see them the crows are always divebombing the hawk, I'm sure you had to be quick to get this shot. Nice.

Thanks Dave, the crows are starting to drive me crazy. We've got a ton of them flying along the shore of Lake Ontario making their way back up north. Hope you don't have so many over your way.

The crows aren't so bad now - its the geese- they been flocking bigtime the past week or so. Supposed to be near 60 by the end of the week - hopefully some of this snowpack will melt.. I'm ready for trout season.
