Anyone know where is a good spot to get a bear? The spot we hunt has no more bears for some strange reason. PM with any tips. Thanks.

If it's open, try Angeles Crest between Chilao Campground and Buckhorn Campground (outside the campground boundaries of course). Also Pacifico Mountain Road (may be closed this time of year to vehicle traffic, foot traffic okay). Lots of bears especially around the private campground dumpsters. Look for tracks and let'r rip.

Right here in the good ol SCV. An older buddy (unofficially) just shot the second largest with a bow ever recorded in the state. You might hear about it...he's not real vocal.
