D16 Hog Hunting.

Any body wants to team up to go hunting for some bacon in D16 Zone? And if you have any pics of hogs taken in D16 post them here.

@ Brinkman when you fill your deer tag we can go pig hunting, the more apaches we can gather the better it will be like looking for Bigfoot but with authorization to bag it. So many post I have read here but no one has actually bag one, I'm even thinking that there are no pigs unless I see one is when I'm gonna believe it. So everybody lets go and form a line a get some bacon.

I found their signs and tracks bro, but I have never seen a live (or dead) pig in the D16 area. Good luck. Deer first, then turkeys with the always side of piggy for me!

I'm off Wednesday and Thursday and Fridays. When can you guys go?I got my marlin XL7 30-06 ready, it's nothing much but does the work pretty well. I missed my D16 tag so can't go deer hunting. Let me know if you guys can those days.

My hunting partner and I have whacked four or five in SD county, all on public land, all with a bow. Do a search on the forum "DIY public land pig/hogs."

I go on leave from the 21 0800 to the 5 of December so any time in that time frame im up for anything. Not sure when you are trying to go but thats my window for scouting as well as hopefully taking a pig.

I saw a group of guys tag a hog last year on public land. We ran into em while we were hunting quail. Before that point I had never seen a hog out there but they do in fact exist on public land
