Ok guys nasty Nate and me are going this coming Wednesday bacon hunting or if you have a deer tag that's good too. If any of you wants to join us pm me to exchange phone numbers. We will be meeting in Santa Ysabel near Julian and work our way down. Monday or Tuesday is when we are gonna set up a rally point so phone numbers are important, emails and stuff takes too long to answer. So if you're serious about going this coming Wednesday with us PM me.

Lots of sign but no pigs. Many doe, a few spikes and a shitload of turkey. No deer tag or bird stamp but stopped by and got a bird stamp on the way home.

Just came home from class, been a long day, time to attack the rack, pics manana.

First one is deer. Can't tell what the second one is. Coyote maybe. Yote crap differs a lot based on what it just ate. You'll find manzanita berries in one and fur/feathers in another. With that said I'm no expert on pig feces.

Thanks for ID'ing those droppings. I was pretty sure those were deer but thought they were doe because of the size. I have read/heard that buck droppings are much bigger and that is how you can determine the sex. At any rate, there is deer all over that spot. Lots of trails, beds and droppings.

Rooster 85 - I think those turkeys know the deal about roads and hunting. They didn't seem to concerned with me, even when I stopped to snap a pic.

Ariamm - I can't make it Thursday because I'll be spending time with fam but I'm heading back out there on Friday morning if anyone else wants to join me. I sent you the coordinates on the entrance to the road to access the area. Pack light, it's steep country. I got my bird stamp so hopefully I'll run into a pig or at least a turkey on my next outing.
