Daughters 1st Hog Down !!

My 11 year old daughter Mikayla slammed this 200lb Texas beast a week ago. This was her first big game animal ever taken. She spotted him 100yds off headed to bed down and took the offhand shot right through the shoulder laying him to rest. Her PINK 243 did the trick with nosler 95gr combined technology handloads. She is so proud of her trophy and what an unforgettable time the family and I had in Texas.

Willies270, not only should you be very proud of her accomplishment but never lose sight of the fact that you should cherish every moment spent with your daughter. She will forever remember these times with her dad and what you contributed to raising her up to what will undoubtedly be a fine and well rounded adult. I'm probably going to look into going to Texas as well in another couple years for my young one. I hate that our stupid state has age limits of 12 for deer and pig tags.

Can't beat the Southern hospitality and the youth hunting license is only $ 7.00 which included all tags deer,turkey,ect.
