Dead buck from June 13th

I was out gopher hunting yesterday in some coulees and found this dead buck in some trees. He's a small buck but from the look of the teeth, he was probably 2 1/2 years a old and would have been a great buck in 2 years. I haven't scored him yet but will sometime this week. He was probably shot last hunting season and never recovered.

I'm from the Swift Current area. I was quite surprised to find a buck this size where he was. I've hunted the area quite a bit and have only seen on small 3x3 buck and found one small shed.

Thats a nice rack! If the left eye gaurd was a hair longer it would be a true work of art, totally semetrical.
