Just got back yesterday from 5 days away hunting fallow deer. I have access to a great place and am lucky to be able to invite some extras once a year to enjoy hunting the fallow deer rut with me. We shoot a few does with the rifles to provide meat for camp but for the most part it is bows for the bucks. I got a button buck and a 4 year old cull with my bow and I was very happy. one of my mates hunted extra hard and was extra lucky and scored two amazing bucks with his bow. The biggest buck of the week was shot by a 12 year old with his new .308 model seven (we figured he was allowed a rifle being so young). The young bloke also shot a spikey with his bow but unfortunately we never found the body even though we were able to follow blood for over 500 metres
