Just seen this on the news 250-300 pound wild bore caught in loma linda, ca:skeered: it is a big one. :hog chewing: JESSE U BEAT ME TO IT.

Well, since the media was involved if you did that you'd be a bad guy. If you shoot it was a tranquilizer gun and it ends up dying then you're a good guy. That's probably the main reason.

Interesting that there's no mention of what they did with it. I'm betting it died and they won't let that out (at least not yet).

+1---- The San Timoteo Canyon Creek area has always had a few pigs (escapees) in it. That's common knowledge to most Riverside-tucky/San Bernardino-tucky locals. Problem is, that land is all private or owned by DWP.

The best part was the goofy woman neighbor who was going ZOMG it's a real pig. She needs get out more I think. Plenty of hogs and wild burros get smacked on Reche Canyon road. It's all private there now, we used to hunt Reche Peak and Blue Mtn years ago when I worked up there.

Ole Animal Control's darts were just juiced up for coyotes, they had to keep sticking that poor hog until he finally dropped.

If they'd of shot it people would have raised holy hell. Since they tranquilized it then it's okay that they ended up killing it. Wasted a nice chuck of good boar meat though doing it that way.

The comments are the best part. I would love to see the "leave the animals alone" crowd face to face with a predator and armed with a stick.

The video of the shewing and clapping would be pretty funny until the blood and eating part. Then you would have to cut to commercial.

It is funny they think that if the pigs is knocking on the door that is their space. Apparently humans do not deserve space at all.

I saw it on the channel 4 news last night. The reporters did make the 'ahhhh' sound when they reported that it had to be killed.

I too bet that they wouldn't feel so bad if it was munching on their spleen.

I really don't know why they had to euthanize it, and there reason was its a wild animal how many times we heard bears and mountain lion captured and released to the wilderness and now we have a piggy here and they had to euthanize it man oh man .
