Sunday I got a invite from my good friend to come up Monday to his privet ranch
to get away for a few hrs from the rat race for a visit and some R & R, hiking and A little hoggin while i was out there.
Weather was a little warm but a nice steady light cool breeze in the air made it pleasant to hike around the ranch for a few hrs enjoying the great outdoors just being away from everything and everybody,
I used my suv to get around to certain spots on the few thousand acer ranch and as i parked on one high location to glass i noticed i had got a flat which sucks of course, guess i ran over some pine cones and it punctured my side wall. Thank god for my Verizon connection my friend and found me and helped me out to change my flat. After that we went to the ranch house did a little chatting and i head to head back home to take care of my wife.
Through my days adventure i found a few active pig trials
and a cow carcase picked clean from predators.
Yeh and the only hogs i saw where ground hogs so i wacked a couple out with neck shots..
Saw some wild Turkeys and blacktails too.
All and all it was a great day to get away for some R & R on a Monday and vist good friends and enjoying the great outdoors. Cant wait for my next adventure!...........tra
