I have access to a fair size field of oats. Can anyone tell me if they have ever seen pigs feeding on oats or oat grass?

I know that they love barley, but never heard anything about oats.

Thanks y'all.

If it's tender and green, I'm betting they'll hit it. Actually, if they are hitting it, it shouldn't be too hard to tell. Just look for the crop circles!

You betcha ya. They will eat it up, just as fast as they will get fat in a barley field. Check for for sign around the fields. If pigs are known to be in the area I would bet they would hit the field. Goodluck....

Hogs love wild oats. here I hunt, it's thier main feed before the barley starts to bloom.
