Thats a little scary..I've been in situations like that and given that situation I wouldnt shoot. That could of turned out REAL bad with one dead hunter. When the guy with the pistol pulled the trigger his buddy appeared to me right in the line of fire...Scary stuff....

to go back to another post about carrying a pistol.this is one reason not to. the guy that fell should have shot the pig with his rifle. it looked like he froze to me. the guy with the pistol should have been in the front . thats why hes carrying a pistol i think !!!
Any way im glad no one was killed.

If your going to hunt with a pistol you should probably be hunting alone. That way you can only shoot yourself. And we should all be responsible for our own actions "Nuff said", nuff said

after viewing half a dozen times, I still chuckle. that guy could've been rolling down the hill with that pig. the pig rolled and missed him by a foot and 1/2 a sec behind.

"look ma! was shot 5 times and lived to tell the tale"

Would have been real nice till we got home and kick the living S*** out of that guy. Never go hunting with that fool again. Scared me just watching. Guy with the rifle is a lucky SOB but also not to smart had the hog cornerd should have been ready to shoot not fumbling with safty and then problly had safty off when he fell into the line of fire rolling down the hill with a hot rifle. shame shame shame!

I will agree with the "they aren't real smart or safe" sentiments but I can't say I agree with the hog beingcornered. Looked like a big ole wide hill side for the hog to keep moving away from them on but instead came at them. Definitely luck the guy with the rifle never took a slug!

Note to self: Don't hunt w/those guys!!!!
I wonder if the rifle dude had his scope turned down.
It probably didn't matter at that distance.
The fall he took looked like it could have messed him up pretty good, too.

If you look close, the video starts right where the pig rolls down hill. The hunters may have spooked it some how and were trying to locate the pig. Then things got

and one dead pig.

I did freeze frame on the hog and he does have somthing white on his upper left ear. Looks like a ear tag to me.

Hog are like bulls, you can dodge them pretty easy if you have good footing. If you stumble like twinkletoes in the video, things can get a bit more adventurous.

Bonus round

How many times does the guy shoot the charging hog?

I always get nervous when pilgrims like that are around my dogs. You can clearly see that their actions are dictated by fear rather than respect.
