Drew my CA hunt!!

With max points I finally drew a tule tag. It's for San Luis area, about 30 minutes from home!!! Anyone else hear drew the other two tags for this unit?

Congrats Smithstation. All i know about that hunt is there is a lot of private. I think a guy over on MM drew it a year or two ago and did a decent write up.

It's either sex tag. I was over by the lake tonight looking at a few bulls. One was a decent 6x6 and the other two were 3x4 and another smaller rag horn. They were on public ground but I should have several private ranches to hunt that hold better bulls. I will have some pics in a few weeks after I look over the private ground. I plan to hunt with my bow the first two weeks but the 300RUM will always be close by.

We glassed a monster bull on Wednesday. Best estimate is about 320 inches and he was on the state property. If he is still around in October I will definitely be after him with my bow. Saw several other smaller bulls as well but the big boy definitely set the standard.

Most of the monster bulls I have seen hang out by the dam where u can't hunt them
