e-mailing and posting pics?

i just bought a digital camera,and after i get the pics on the computer ,they are between 100 kb,up to over 1 mb.

is there a way to shrink them in size??

I don't know if there is a faster way, but I use adobe photo shop to shrink my photos down to size.

also, you can upload your photos to the photo gallery here at JHO. Currently it is down, but it should be back up soon.

When you upload them, it will resize them perfectly for posting in the forums. You can either hot link the image in a post here, or you can attach it.

I use EZThumbnails. You can run them down to avatar size and smaller if you want. Free download.

Also, for your emails if you just right click the file that is the picture that you want to email, select send to, then mail recipient then you have the choice to select the size of the photo. 800x600 is the size that I always use.
