Todd...take a look at Shingani Safari's in RSA....Riaan is a stand-up guy and runs a family business over there...Just be sure and check references with any outfitter...Good Luck!

OH, IF YOU TAKE YOUR GUN MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR NUMBERS ON THE PERMIT BEFORE YOU SIGN IT. THEY LIKE TO PLAY GAMES AND WRITE A NUMBER WRONG SO YOU HAVE TO PAY THE NEXT GUY TO CHANGE IT OR YOU DONT GET TO BOARD . CLEM, WILL HELP YOU GET EVERYTHING TAKEN CARE OF IN JOBERG. YOU WILL STAY A NIGHT THERE BEFORE YOU GO TO EAST LONDON. CLEM HAS THE BB YOU WILL STAY AT AND ITS A REAL NICE PLACE. THEY WILL MAKE YOU FEEL RIGHT AT HOME. THE PH WILL PICK YOU UP AT THE AIRPORT AND YOU WILL BE IN THEIR CARE TELL THEY DROP YOU BACK OFF. THE OUTFITTER YOU WILL HUNT WITH THROUG EAI IS CALLED KUBUSI. YOU WILL STAY AT 2 DIFFERENT LODGES 1 IS CALLED XXL OR GLEN BOYD AND THE OTHER IS CALLED KUBUSI.
IF YOU DRAW BLOOD IN AFRICA YOU PAY FOR THE ANIMAL, SO PUT IN YOUR RANGE TIME AND MAKE ALL YOUR SHOTS COUNT. MAKE A SET OF TALL SHOOTING STIX AND SHOOT OF THEM ALOT. HAVE FUN AND WHEN ARE YOU GOING?

Todd, if you do book through EAI they will emil you all the permits you need to take your gun and help you fill them out. He will help you get your plane tickets taken care of and walk you through everything you need to know. James the owner of Kubusi is a fair and honest man. He and his crew will do everything they can to make you happy. There is a nice big pond at the Glen Boyd lodge if you go there on your first day you will have time to fish after you sight in your gun. There is a taxidermist on sight at Glen Boyd, you can check out his work. Alot of other outfitters in the area use him also his name is Rudy. He also does some PH work at Glen Boyd . Your PH will take great care of you and all rifle hunting will be done spot and stalk. I can not say one bad thing about EAI or kubusi. Great place to go for the money.

Hopefully in the next year or two or possibly for my 40th B-day if my wife will want to go hunt too, and after I get a little $$$ saved up....so I figure if I start working on it now, planning and researching...it WILL happen....Thanks agian for all the info.
