I have been looking and researching cameras for almost a year now. Oh, the torment has been great!
When Panasonic came out with their new FZ 10 I fell in love. It had everything I wanted and a lot more.
I was planning on taking all X-mass money plus the $350 I had already saved for it and buy it then.
Well, the little lady decided that I needed it now "so that I can take Christmass pictures"
So anyway, to make a long story short, I got an early present tonight. The Panasonic FZ 10.
It will take me all summer to figure out all the modes and overides and everything else I can do with it.
If you guys aren't familar with this camera these are the vital signs.
12X Optical zoom with IS
3X Digital zoom
4.0 Megapixal
Leica lens
2.8 throughout the full focal length!

I was thinking about getting the same camera. Show us some of your pictiures and give us a critique on the camera.

Congrats. It looks like you made a great purchase. The "vital signs", as you put it, look great. I hope the camera works out well for you. Keep us posted on how you like it.

Also good to hear that the little lady is a fan of it. Be sure to print some of your holiday photos. My wife and I love the photos that our cam cranks out.

Now the camera is more capable then I am for sure.
This was taken in a dark lit room. I was playing around with Apature priority, ISO speed, ect.
