Elk East Park Reservoir

Took these pictures the last two weekends while I was up at the cabin about 22 miles above the lake. These Elk are not on the lake property but most likely will be come time for the season. They are currently in areas that you can hunt with a rifle if you can get permission from the land owners. There were other elk in he area yesterday but after spending the weekend at 5200 feet in elevation my cameras were so fogged up from the climate change I couldn't get them to work very well. The second picture is not a high scoring elk but he is a unique 10x7.

I could care less about the "score", and am all about character. And, that second bull has some for sure, and he's gonna be a doozy!!!
