I was hunting at Camp Roberts in October and I came across these tracks. I should have put something next to it for comparison however, I didn't. The track was fairly large, I would say 4-5 inches long and thus must have been 2-1/2" wide (give or take). Anyways, one of the guys I was hunting with thought it might be a hog track but I don't think so. I have seen Elk at the base earlier in the year and due to the size and the lack of the dew claws (I think that is what they call them) a pig would have, plus the roundish shape of this track I think it is an Elk track...What do you guys/gals think?

Looks like a cow elk to me............(bovine tracks have a more round shape to it)
I doubt that they are hog tracks........Usually a bull will have dew claw marks behind the print ( mostly in softer stuff).......

I'd say those are most likely elk tracks (or a HUGE buck!), from the ones I've seen in Colorado and Utah over the years....not a huge one maybe, but elk.

Looks like a Uniroyal "Tiger Paw" LT265/75/16, would appear to have about 15,000 miles, slightly out of balance, truck pulls a little to the right.

Those hoofed tracks would appear to be elk.
