Thats a great shed deershed!! Its got character! split tines and a drop!! you have to love it!! Thanks for sharing it!! I like the sheds with character...I found a matched set last year that still had velvet on them, not the biggest set was even busted up a bit but the character was great! I'll see if I can find a pic....

Fossilman, Sounds like a great set! any pics??

Good looking stuff people! I can't match that kinda size or uniqueness, but here is a pic of my favorite find as they laid. Weathered and chewed, but good mass, with bladed tines and a little character.

I think I started a post similar to this one last year. Here's one of my favorites. About 84 inches. H1 is 6 1/ inches! The one on the left is the real one. The other is a replica I made of it.

I didn't find it, but this is it I think I scored it at around 55-60 can't remember, the tines are around 10 inches and the base is about the same width as a pop can, and has 3 or 4 stickers popping out there. the brow tine is around 8 inches I think

We don't have mid-western or Canadian quality deer here but I do have a couple favorites. Here's one of em.

Kinda always liked this one too. Have this same side from the same buck, prior year as a 2.5 year old. Shed within 100yds.

135inchsingle,

I remember the post earlier, but I can't find it. Oh well, Here is one of my best. It scored 83 7/8 and has 10 points that meat the Boone and Crocket minimum.

Baddison,

That is one big shed. Did you hunt that deer? Did you know he was there before you found the SHED.

Hey WBPruett,

No, we had no idea the deer was there until the shed was found. Now its been 2 seasons and you only see bits and pieces of him very rarely. He is going to be the type of deer that is just plain luck if you get him. Knowing he is around there somewhere does make the up and coming hunting season ALOT more exciting!

Normally don't like Typical sheds...a gnarly kind of shed guy, but I like this one! (its not mine, but we shed hunt the section over from where it was found) The landowner who found it let my bud borrow it to show off...so I snagged a self portrait with it a while back :)

I think it score 90 1/8th but I can't recall :(

If it grew some brow tines it would be a gagger if the other side matched up!! Actually it would be a gagger as it is! LOL

I don't have that great of collection, but my favorite is probably the only matched set I have. I found them both the same day within an hour of each other in January about 4 years ago.

Sorry about the quality, the camera I had at the time sucked.

Gotta love sets bandit, I only have two myself. Trying hard to change that.

baddison and abbuck, those two are leathal weapons. Classic dream sheds for non-typ and typical sheds.
