At one of my feeders, I have two with game cams, there were 4 pigs coming in around 5:30 pm each night. I sat one night and they came in about 50 yards above the feeder and then down. I lost light and fired a shot, might have hit one but they ran off. I now see only 3 of them on the game cam. Anyway I went back a week later and setup higher up to get them when they came in. As soon as I get under my cedar tree 2 different hogs come in, back down at the feeder. I try to sneak back down where I can get a shot. The ground was flooded the sun was in my eyes every shot was blocked by a tree branch. I ended up with a weak shot and missed. When I got the game cam pics I see that they came in around 4:08 when I was setting up, left and came back around 5:11. Good looking hogs. I'll get them....You can watch the time line, the feeder also went off.

Boar's are much harder to find and shoot. They usually run as soon as they sense any danger.

You can see in the two pictures where I aim. If you hit this spot or pretty close it will break their spine, they usually will hit the ground in their tracks. But I am usually 40 yards or less. I use a 1x4 scope. I watched this video before I started hunting pigs:

In this picture I hit this big sow, as she was walking, a little further back than where I wanted to, she ran 20 yards or so after the shot.
