A fellow hog hunter, hogdogs, from Florida was in a terrible auto accident this weekend while visiting in MO. He was transported by helicopter to St. Johns Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. His left arm is badly injured, and the Dr.'s are not sure if they can save it. More surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 5th.
Dr.'s say Brent will be in the hospital here for 2-3 weeks for multiple surguries and rehabilitation.
Little Junior only suffered a couple deep cuts on his leg while exiting the vehicle and was treated and released at the local hospital.
If anyone wishes to assist, we're attempting to gather some funds.
As far as donations, it may be best to make the checks out to me because I can turn it into cash easier than they can from here. If you would be more comfortable directing funds to the family, I can get you their info as well.
Travel expenses, medical bills, and replacing their vehicle is gonna be very costly. We have other forum members opening their own homes up to offer a place to sleep while they are in MO as well.
I will make it back to the hospital tomorrow. If any more info is needed, please send me a PM or reply in this thread.

How it all happened...The guys had just left the location of the BTO member's BBQ for their trip home and made it approx. 8 miles or so. The vehicle had gotten off the right side of the road and they over corrected.
Once they were on blacktop again, they spun a 180 and the tires grabbed, sending them toppling over at least 4 times, while rolling another 2-3 times in the corn field.
The distance from first getting off the road to the final stopping point was 1/10 of a mile. Brent was unconcious for a while as Junior climbed out thru the broken window, and at that time received a couple good cuts on his leg.
They weren't even travelling at a high rate of speed, probably under 50 mph.
