I assume someone got paid a lot of money to get this passed. Hogs are very destructive. They will spill and spread the poison around the feeding areas. Other animals will ingest it. What happens if someone already taking blood thinners shoots and eats some hog that ate the poison before it turned he fat blue? What happens when buzzards start dying. Pets, livestock, etc. This is bad news.
The hole shit about this is there is virtually no public land to hunt hogs on, just some water ways. the land owners are making BuKu on the hunting Leases, who is crying about the Hogs? The government could care about Private land and if there is next to nothing public land who is doing the crying?
I'm sure it has to do with farmers and ranchers insurance claims each year. Also lots of public land gets damaged, it just may not be land that can be hunted. Reminds me of some people saying turkeys have taken over towns in Cali. I know guides still charge 8oo-1300 bucks per bird. I'm guessing there is enough of whatever game to go around. But once people start making money, things change.
