Is there any way of getting the weekend pass back in the mail before then? Or are they letting you sign in at FHL again?

Hey jesse give me a pm and I can offer you a lunch at my house at FHL, I would go hunting with you but I would must likely get busted for guiding without a lic.Thats how bad it has gotten. I think Im going to get a lawyer over this cra$.

Come on Lowell, we can set the tongues a waggin if we're seen together. Let's at least show up at the check in window together. We can then switch vehicles and park our trucks way way off somewhere and see who watches them all day.

What the SITREP form the quake? Is the hunting still on for the weekend? Any damage at FHL?

Just checked the hunter info line. All training areas are open. Threat level is Bravo right now. If FHL goes to threat level Charlie they will shut the hunting down. Closure will be on hunting info line at 831- 386-3310.

Elk hunts areas are closed from Dec 27-31, 2003. Not sure what all the elk areas are but they are mostly the ones surrounding the tank range. 25, 24, 16, 15, maybe?

I thought FHL was only open on weekends but the info line said Dec 27 until Jan 4.

Weekend check in window staff (831) 386-2677. FHL is open on weekends and federal holidays only. Closed Xmas Eve and Xmas Day.

My dad and I will be there tomorrow afternoon for some fishing and we'll be spending the night at the Hacienda.The next day we will be hunting for quail and rabbit.And just in case, we will bring along some slugs for them hogs.Anybody wanna blurt out a training area that holds good numbers of quail or rabbit ?

Okayyou guys!

You are thinking the same as me. I plan on going up new years eve. Especially since --- I checked the web at FHL ... and like The Grinche said it's open to the 4th, I think I will stay up there for a couple of days start'in off the New Year with a Bang away from the crowds and such!!.

Should be some birds and maybe some hogs left!?

Anyway I will dig it on all acounts cuz I have'nt been there since the A zone deer season!!
