What the heck while there in the area. But things could change. I gave away most of the meat except the back straps, tenders and hind quarters which will be made into sausages. I wanna find a nice small hog 100 -130 lbs.
We had the Back straps last nite for dinner and had a buddy over for a dart game.It tasted great, my wife marinated the BS with some olive oil, lemon, garlic and few other ingredients.

Are you guys going to be camped in front of the Check Station this weekend? I am waiting for my permit to be approved, but I guess we can still camp at FHL? Laguna Mountain isn't setup for camping, and the guys try to squeeze into the tiny trail head parking area. Not level enough to run my furnace, either.
Them showers work in the campground?
Where in the camp ground? some thing new. I know there showers down the hill behind the game shack But I never used them.
Me I always camp in the back. But something came up I may be there early saturday morning 6Am. Its still in the air. But I'll be there any ways for sure Saturday am.

About 3/4 mile north from Laguna Mtn. Parking lot on San Benito Road is a good campsite under the oak trees on east side of the road. I think that is call the Sweetwater Spring parcel.
I thought I remembered showers hooked up to the bathroom in hte middle of the campground. May have been someone doing the solar shower deal. Never used them but wondered.
I didn't get my camper fixed today, gonna try and finish it tomorrow and if no joy I'll just tent it. Anybody going to be there tomorrow to camp with? I should roll in before the check in window closes, maybe 3PM.
Hi Jesse-
Looks like my son is in so I will be there for a Saturday hunt. I will be at the game shack
before 6 am on Saturday. Hope to catch up to you.

Thanks for reminding me of the oak tree, now I remember all the target practice done there. It's been a few years since I hunted Laguna. I got into the poison oak real bad last time.
Hey guys,
I picked up some 12 Gauge Remington Copper Solids at Big 5, so they are available over the counter. I went surfing at the gun forums, and found two different forums with messages about the Remington Copper Solids having a primer that is too hard and doesn't always fire. We had better be ready to eject the dud shell and reload another, especially with an aggressive boar.
